Trailer receiver for 2025 Tacoma

I just purchased a new 2025 Tacoma and the salesman said he gave
me a trailer as part of the purchase.
Now the dealer is telling me that Toyota does not provide a trailer receiver for this vehicle. I have a trailer and I need a vehicle that will accommodate towing capability.

Very disappointed with my SR5 2924 Tundra

It is not what happened but your poor design and failure to deliver a product equal to or better than your past products. This is my 3rd SR5 Tundra.

I bought the original in 1999, I still own a 2012. This 2024 model makes me so angry every time I drive it. I have owned this for nearly a year. First off what were you thinking with regards to leg room for back seat passengers.

I am only 56 and there is not enough room. Then you built the center consul extending back depriving a middle passengers the ability to keep their legs together. I use to be able to put a bags of groceries in the back seat floors. Impossible now.

The bag seat is only good for double amputee.i am not joking, I would rather have no back bench and the space instead for cargo.
Then you put a 20 gallon gas tank in the truck instead of the 25 gallon. For me that is significant because I travel back and forth between Pennsylvania and Utah. I would be okay with that if your V6 turbocharge had improved gas mileage, but if anything it is worse or at best equal to my previous trucks.
Another serious issue is the radar assist cruise control. It is useless, highways are 75 and 80 mph out west the amount of breaking distance it requires is absurd.

The truck continues to fall back with everybody cutting in front of you. The other major issue is that in snowstorms the sensors become covered and it fails to work. I know you can over ride it by literally stopping the vehicle and hold the button while restarting; not at all practical on I-70 in Colorado in a snowstorm. You need a button to override on the go for such situations and you need to reprogram the braking distance response Lastly CarPlay is so inconsistent with connecting to my phone,; especially if I connect my phone to a usb to charge while driving.

The phone connects, I get gas restart the truck and 9 out of 10 times it does not connect.

On top of that I may have to try up to 4 times to connect via CarPlay it continues to bounce out.
My 1st Tundra 2000; cost $17,500.
2012 Tundra$30,000 no interest
2024 Tundra $50,000
All 3 trucks SR5 with 6 & 1/2 foot beds
This is why I am so disappointed with this truck. Much more money for less.
If you expect me to remain a loyal Toyota consumer, I expect follow up and much better.

My loyalty as a lifelong Toyota customer is finished

Customer service was respectful and informative. I'm confused if you mean by company the Customer Service or Toyota.

Toyota is a rip off. And there is no appeal process. In a lifetime of owning cars with no garage or carport, I never had to repaint a single car, and I keep my cars well beyond 10 years, my last one 19 years. I was quoted $5000 for the job.

If my car was white instead of gray Toyota would pay for it.

Customer service was very nice. Not Toyota.

Feels Disappointed | Sep 06, 2024

I currently would not recommend Toyota due to the fact that Toyota can continue making parts for vehicles to sell the vehicles but cannot make parts to repair vehicles that have been involved in an accident. The representative was very nice and respectful but was not able to resolve my issue. I am currently making a truck payment in addition to paying over $1000.00 a month for a rental vehicle because Toyota cannot get the parts needed to repair vehicle. Ridiculous!!!
